MARCH is a state-of-the-art software for the computation and analysis of various Markovian models including Homogeneous Markov Chains, Hidden Markov Models, Double Chain Markov Models and Mixture Transition Distribution models. Main features include transition matrix analysis, covariates, confidence intervals, hierarchical models, importation of theoretical models, powerful estimation algorithms, and much more. March is able to analyze very large and complex data sets.
The current version of MARCH is 3.10.
MARCH is organized around a main screen called the Console reflecting at any time the current state of the software (current model, current estimation algorithm, and so on).
MARCH is very easy to work with. All actions are performed through menus and dialogue windows. The philosophy of the software shows clearly the relation between different models. Even if very complicated processes can be designed, simplified functions give a direct access to the most common models. Results are easy to export and to exploit with other softwares.
MARCH works on computers running Microsoft's Windows operating system, but additional versions could be developped upon request.
